Indian Civilization and Culture is an essay. This essay has been written by Mahatma Gandhi. He born on 2 Oct 1869. He died at the hands of a fanatic on 30 Jan 1948. Mahatma Gandhi believed in Non-Violence. He used Truth and Non-Violence as the chief weapon against the British  Ruler . He is known as the Father of Nation Bapu. He was a great spiritual leader.

 In this present essay, the another describe the importance of India Civilization  and the Culture. He compares Indian Civilization with Western Civilization.

According to Mahatma Gandhi , India civilization means good conduct. He says that Indian civilization teaches us morality and western civilization teaches us immorality. Mahatma Gandhi says that he mind is restless bird the more it gests, the more it wants but still remains unsatisfied. The Indian Civilization teaches us the lesson  of  "simple living and high thinking". The  people of India believe in God. It is the power of Indian Civilization. He says that modern Civilization is based on materialism . It is the worship of material. The people of India believe in " Live and others let live".
