In this present poem, The poet explains an event. It was a hot day. he was wearing Pyjamas. The poet was very thirsty. When the poet comes to his water trough to drink water. The snake was near water trough. The poet says that the snakes was Cobra. He thinks that will I will honour him like a guest. But, the value of Education said to him. You must kill the snake . In Sicily, the black snakes are innocent and the gold snakes are venomous. His heart was not allowed to kill the snake. The snake drunk water and lifted the head like a cattle. The snake looked at the poet vaguely. When the snake was going to its hole. Th poet his the part of body with log.
At last, After hitting the snake. the poet regrets very much.
